WHY PUERTO VALLARTA?

Puerto Vallarta is located in the State of Jalisco, on the Pacific coast of Mexico. Vallarta's old world Mexican charm displayed by rows of stunning architecture lining the cobblestone streets spiraling through the many neighborhoods is fast becoming one of the top rated family vacation areas in Mexico, as well as the
prime location to own real estate.

Puerto Vallarta has a charming colonial appeal. It's cobble stone streets lined with old world Mexican architecture, artfully decorated with the lush flora and fauna of the Sierra Madre Mountains, wind easily upward through the neighborhoods filled with red tile roofed homes abundant with hibiscus, bougainvilleas and other vibrantly colorful tropical flowers. Multiple sandy beaches line the edge of the hills all along the azure blue water of the Bay of Banderas Pacific coastline.  You will find communications, roads and other infrastructure, as well as a number of newly-built luxury units and many properties at bargain prices.

There are basically three major real estate zones in Mexico where foreigners (Americans) tend to invest the most. Those are Riviera Maya (Cancun), Baja California and Central Pacific coast (Puerto Vallarta). The Bajas, popular among Arizonians and Californians, have an arid desert climate and relatively bare scenery, while Riviera Maya is susceptible to influences of Atlantic Ocean hurricanes and thus has limited appeal to investors.

Puerto Vallarta and the extended Bay of Banderas and Pacific Coastal areas of Nuevo Vallarta,
Bucerias, La Cruz, Punta Mita, Sayulita, San Pancho-San Francisco, Lo de Marcos and Guayabitos to name a few seems to be by far the most appealing and popular amongst Americans and Canadians.

Puerto Vallarta was basically a simple Mexican fishing village until famed director John Houston put Vallarta on the map with the filming of "Night of the Iguana", starring Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.

PV’s mild tropical fall and winter stretches from September through April, making it an especially ideal place for hundreds of thousands of aging baby boomers seeking warmer and stable climate conditions. Perhaps the temperate Hawaii-like climate is, at least initially, the chief reason for the well-developed tourist industry presently attracting more and more tourists each year as well as property purchasers.

The many beautiful relaxing beaches, recreational and cultural activities, exciting day adventure trips and array of exquisite restaurants, numerous Art galleries, cafes, museums and colorful native vendors found in the area especially along the Malecon are a unique combination not found anywhere else in Mexico.

PV has also shown the highest and fastest appreciation of property, thus making it an attractive target for real estate investors. Your property can become a rental income gathering source throughout the year.
